On Monday night's from-home monologue, Late Show host Stephen Colbert tackled a few lowlights of President Trump's approach to the coronavirus pandemic over the weekend. While over 23,000 Americans have already died from COVID-19, the president's focus has been on the effects that life-saving measures like social distancing and shutdowns are having on the economy. More specifically, he's been pushing back on the wild idea that it's more important to protect American lives right now than the American economy.
"Now, some people say that Trump values the economy over human life just to help his reelection, but I'm sure he's not thinking about himself here!" joked Colbert. "Remember, all his buildings are branded 'OTHER PEOPLE.'" Read more...
