No matter how bad 2020 was, we can at least take comfort in its very good dogs.

The Australian bushfires, coronavirus lockdowns, police brutality protests, and an extremely tense U.S. election made 2020 seem like a freight train of nightmares with no breaks. Yet our loyal pets reminded us that there is still a great deal of good in the world, becoming home office helpers, fluffy meteorologists, and protesters against racism — as well as continuing to uphold the age-old canine tradition of invading sport fields.
