Protester mocks Melania Trump's 'I Really Don't Care' jacket at court appearance

The woman who climbed the Statue of Liberty has a statement for Melania Trump: she really cares. 

Patricia Okoumou scaled Lady Liberty a month ago to protest Donald Trump's immigration policy of family separation. During the three-hour standoff with police officers, she said she wouldn't come down until "all the children are released."  Okoumou's statement was in reference to the Trump administration detaining and separating immigrant children from their families attempting to enter the country.

For her court appearance on Friday, Okoumou wore a green dress painted with the words "I really care, why won't u?" The dress is a play on the cargo jacket that Melania Trump was dragged for wearing to a visit to a facility for detained families.  Read more...
